“Chances are good that she is on board”

Toronto rapper Drake has given his private jet “Air Drake” a stylish facelift and unveiled the redesigned “Air Drake 2” on Instagram.

The new outside features the text “Chances are she’s on board” in large letters, replacing the original text “If you’re reading this, we left” as a reference to his 2015 mixtape “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late.”

The Boeing 767 donated by Cargojet could carry around 200 passengers when configured as a commercial aircraft.

The design of both Air Drake versions was created by the late Virgil Abloh.

While Air Drake 1 featured a paint job inspired by the cover of Drake’s 2013 album “Nothing Was the Same,” featuring blue skies and fluffy clouds, Air Drake 2 features a more moody aesthetic with overcast skies and lightning.

Inside, the jet is nothing short of luxurious, with three private suites, two living rooms, a business lounge, an entertainment room and a bathroom with shower.

Gold and wooden surfaces, carpets and furniture in beige and light purple tones set accents in the interior.

Drake first introduced Air Drake in 2019, highlighting its partnership with Canadian company Cargojet as a way to support local businesses.

“Supporting local businesses has always been one of my top priorities,” Drake said in a press release at the time.

“So when the opportunity arose to work with a great Canadian company, it was an honour.”

According to reports, the nearly 30-year-old jet was originally purchased by Saudi airline Mid East Jet in 1996.
