Cheap pancakes and guns and hoses make for a sensational Saturday

Come early. Come hungry. And then, kids, burn some of the food in the relay races.

These are just a few of the festivities you can enjoy on the last weekend before Labor Day as the Kiwanis Club of Missoula will be serving its 63rd annual all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast this Saturday, August 24th from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The breakfast will be served at Ogren Park Allegiance Field, home of our Missoula Paddleheads minor league baseball team.

Guns and hoses? Sure, why not?

The event is held at the ballpark for a reason. In addition to the delicious breakfast, you can also watch the Missoula Police and Fire Department’s GUNS & HOSES softball game, which begins at 10:00 a.m. And if watching isn’t enough for you, kids, there will be pancake relay races and eating contests during the game, so come prepared to compete!

JUST BUY YOUR TICKETS THERE

Tickets are available for purchase directly at the ballpark, so you don’t have to worry about purchasing in advance. Tickets are only $5 each and children under 5 eat free. You can always pay more if you’d like, as the pancake breakfast raises money to support children in our community and beyond.

One of the oldest and longest running service clubs in Missoula, Kiwanis of Missoula is a special organization of fun-loving members who work hard to make Missoula a better place to live for all of those kids. If you would like to learn more about the club or are considering joining, meet weekly on Tuesdays at 12 noon at the Westside Lanes and Fun Center, 1615 Wyoming Street in Missoula.
