The Great Allentown Fair begins today with a big show in the grandstand.
Cheap Trick and Blue Oyster Cult will perform on Wednesday, August 28th at 7pm. There’s still time to grab last-minute tickets.

Cheap Trick was founded in 1974 and has sold 20 million albums worldwide, including the hits “I Want You to Want Me,” “The Flame,” “Dream Police” and “Surrender.” The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016. Members are Robin Zander (vocals, rhythm guitar), Rick Nielsen (lead guitar), Tom Petersson (bass guitar) and Daxx Nielsen (drums).
Blue Oyster Cult has been performing for over 50 years. Their hits include “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper,” “Godzilla,” and “Burnin’ For You.” Members are Donald “Buck Dharma” Roeser (singer, lead guitar), Eric Bloom (singer/rhythm guitar), Richie Castellano (guitar and keyboard), Danny Miranda (bass guitar), and Jules Radino (drums).
