Houston Improv welcomes Nashville stand-up comedian Dusty Slay for five live shows on the Spring Branch stage.
Long hair, tobacco, oversized glasses and a trucker hat: Slay is the humble Southern comedian next door with a bourbon voice and a talent for observational, down-to-earth humor. He grew up the son of a single mother in a trailer park in Alabama and gets laughs with everything from Cracker Barrel to his aversion to soap.
The 40-year-old Nashville native is a mainstay of the country music scene, making his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2019 and performing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon And Jimmy Kimmel Livehas a Comedy Central special Netflix special Working man.
