Cookie Plug opens second store in Michigan with “buy 4, get 8 free” promotion on opening day

FERNDALE, MI – Michigan’s second Cookie Plug opens its doors this weekend, and to celebrate, the store is offering a great deal for the grand opening celebration.

Cookie Plug will open in Ferndale in Metro Detroit, 23131 Woodward Avenue, on Saturday, August 10th from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. It will be open daily.

On opening day, guests who purchase four cookies and a drink will receive eight cookies free.

And these aren’t small cookies. Cookie Plug is known for making some of the thickest cookies that are crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside.

“The cookies are crispier on the outside and softer on the inside,” said Ricky Hurd, Cookie Plug franchise owner. “They’re also thicker than the cookies you normally get at most cookie shops.”

Cookie Plug offers a wide variety of flavors including Chocolate Chip, S’mores, Cookies and Cream, Triple Chocolate, Red Velvet Cake, Strawberry Cheesecake, Snickerdoodle and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip. There is also a selection of keto cookies, a cookie of the month flavor and 12 mini cookie popper flavors.

Each cookie costs $5 and the more you buy, the cheaper they get: 4-6 are $4.50 each, 7-11 are $3 each, 12-19 are $2.50 each, 20-39 are $2 each and if you buy 40 or more, they are $1.50 each.

Michigan’s first Cookie Plug opened earlier this year in Brighton at 8593 West Grand Blvd. A third location is planned in Harrison Twp.
