Creators of “Stranger Things” announce heartbreaking moment in season 5

Will an important character from Stranger Things die in the final season?

The fifth and final season of Netflix’s hit sci-fi series will be released sometime in 2025, and fans around the world can’t wait to see how the journey ends.

It’s hard to believe that the series came out in 2016. It’s been eight years since viewers first met Eleven and the rest of the gang.

It’s time to find out how the Stranger Things story ends, and it sounds like one character might not make it out alive.

Will Max die in the final season of Stranger Things?

Variety recently published a profile of Sadie Sink, who plays the popular character Max in the series. Stranger Things creators Ross and Matt Duffer were both interviewed and spoke about Max’s fate when she is in a coma at the end of the fourth season.

The Duffer brothers confirmed that Max will play a role in the final season, but Ross told the outlet, “We don’t want to give away how that’s possible, though.”

“Right, because she’s in a coma. I think she’s just become more confident as an actress and in her choices. We shot a scene with her the other day that was just absolutely heartbreaking. I don’t know how she hits those notes,” his brother Matt added to Variety.

It’s this comment from Matt that’s got me scratching my head. What’s the point of that “absolutely heartbreaking” scene with Max that Sink filmed?

It’s no secret that the ending of Stranger Things will probably involve a lot of death and carnage. It just doesn’t make much sense for everyone to survive.

Is Max doomed to die? Will the lovable character not make it to the end credits of the series? It makes sense that at least some of the most popular characters would die, as this would be the most emotionally draining and increase the tension.

Of course, there is a lot we don’t know. Details about the fifth and final season are guarded like nuclear codes. Who will survive and who will die? We’ll find out in 2025. Let me know your predictions at [email protected].
