Crittenton Center operates a daycare and preschool in the Orange City area

ORANGE CITY, Iowa (KTIV) – Early Childhood Development (ECD) has agreed to have the Crittenton Center in Sioux City take over operations of the Orange City Area Daycare and Preschool (OCADP).

OCADP, located at 1103 Lincoln Circle, was previously operated by the Orange City Area Daycare Board. The Crittenton Center will take over operations beginning September 3.

“We are grateful for the support and leadership of the ECD Board and for the opportunity to pass the torch to the Crittenton Center, a provider committed to serving our community and with a long history of providing excellent services to children and families,” said Chelsie Robins, OCADP Board Chair.

“Partnering with an experienced provider like Crittenton Center allows Orange City Area Daycare and Preschool to continue to provide excellent care while benefiting from Crittenton Center’s economies of scale, efficiency and expertise,” said Martin Guthmiller, CEO of Orange City Area Health System.

The Crittenton Center’s Child Development Programs say they follow a research- and play-based curriculum and are supervised by certified teachers and trained educators.
