Daily free meal offers for students this fall

Get ready to fuel up, Hornets! This fall, Fullerton College students can enjoy free food at the Fullerton College Dining Hall.

Students can scan their student ID at the register to receive a dining credit that can then be used toward a daily meal. The meal includes a bottle of water and a bag of chips. The credit is only valid toward a daily meal Monday through Friday in the Campus Dining Hall, Cruz Reynoso Hall, Building 200. A vegetarian option is also offered daily.

Several students recently participated in a taste test of various menu items and gave high ratings to a crispy and spicy buffalo chicken sandwich, a Mexican chicken bowl and an Asian chicken rice bowl.

The meal credit, which resets every day Monday through Friday, is designed to energize you and get you ready for the day. Starting this fall, Sodexo will also accept EBT in the campus cafeteria.

The Healthy Hornets meal program is just another step in providing a comprehensive support system for students on campus. With the opening of the Hornets Resource Center next to the Campus Dining Hall, Fullerton College will help students apply for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or CalFresh, Medi-Cal, Covered California, Housing Authority and more. In addition, the Chris Lamm and Toni Dubois Memorial Food Bank is open to all students enrolled at Fullerton College.
