POWDERLY – David Wayne Crick, 66, of Powderly, died Monday, August 12, 2024, at his residence. Born November 9, 1957 in Muhlenberg County. He was a laborer and worked in the water jetting field. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding ATVs, but most of all he loved spoiling and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Mary Crick, and his grandparents, Howard and Opal Wagner, and Ellis and Petronilla Crick.
He is survived by his wife Freda Griffith, his daughters Tracy (Johnathan) Latham and Christy McClain, his grandson Steven Jones, four granddaughters, Allison (Richard) Sumner, Megan (Joe) Brewer, Morgan Jones and Bethany McClain, 11 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Freddy Crick and Delbert Wagner, his sister Lisa (Bubby) Fulkerson, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Brother Roger Heltsley and Brother Ron Noffsinger will officiate.
