Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health visits Southwest Ohio

WARREN COUNTY, OH – Congressman Greg Landsman met with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary Andrea Palm during her visit to Southwest Ohio last Friday. During her visit, Landsman hosted a town hall meeting at Ohio Living Llanfair to highlight efforts to lower drug prices and limit out-of-pocket costs for seniors.

During their visit, local leaders also met for a roundtable discussion about children and families and opportunities for HHS support.

“Bringing government representatives to our community is incredibly important. It’s an opportunity to share the great work of Southwest Ohio groups making a difference. Additionally, we can bring our hopes and priorities to Washington DC for these representatives and their teams,” Landsman noted in his end-of-week newsletter.

Earlier this week, Landsman visited the City of Loveland, where he met with city staff and told them how he and his administration helped raise $745,000 for the Cherokee Drive water main project. The money will be used to install over 2,700 feet of new water mains and replace aging lines so residents have a reliable supply of clean water.
