Destiny 2: Choir of One Weapon – Lore

The full weapon history for the Choir of One can be found below.

“One vote. One choice. One invitation.

The Vex goblin waded into the lake of radiolaria with the same unerring purpose with which he approached all things. As instructed, as planned. His own mass of radiolaria crawled and wriggled through his body like worms through the thick soil of Nessus. His mind was elsewhere, the great roots of thought buried deep within him, and all other Vex enslaved beneath him.

The soft white glow enveloped the Vex up to the knee joint. Then a hand reached out to him. The Vex felt a pressure on his skull. A thumbprint. An activation code. Biometric data. The radiolarians within him lit up with activity and sound, burning through his metal body.

Then it disintegrated. It shook and fell apart; limbs came off, the undercarriage was broken and bent. A pellet of radiolaria scattered throughout the lake and was retrieved.

But something told him to get up.

Then reassembled. Its parts fitted together and moved flawlessly. It rose steadily, balanced and formed with absolute perfection. The radiolaria slid from its body in drops that separated, reformed, separated, reformed.

Everyone a spirit. Everyone a thought.

The Vex felt his own mind gently shatter as that thought sharpened in his skull. A flash of light. A sharp spark.

A choice.

It looked at its creator and bowed.”
