Game Notes: The Tigers return home after a split West Coast trip that began with two of three wins in Seattle. Now the Mariners travel to Comerica Park to begin three games. A rematch from Wednesday will be on the mound, with Tarik Skubal and George Kirby. The Tigers won that game 6-2, with Skubal throwing seven innings of two runs and three hits with nine strikeouts. Kirby allowed two home runs and three earned runs in five innings. The Mariners are tied with Houston for the top of the American League West Division.
