It’s a new month with a new hairstyle for Dixie D’Amelio!
The 22-year-old social media star is gearing up for spring with platinum blonde hair, thanks to celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, who revealed the transformation on his Instagram page on Sunday.
D’Amelio said she was “so excited” to get the hair color – described by Giannetos as “French vanilla blonde.”

“It’s so incredible,” the TikTok star said in a behind-the-scenes video from Giannetos. “It’s so blonde!” Giannetos said he achieved the “perfect blonde” for D’Amelio using L’Oréal Paris Féria hair color.
The celebrity hairdresser included a photo of the transformation. Another post shows that while D’Amelio’s hair color has changed, the length has remained the same.

This isn’t the first time D’Amelio has sported blonde hair. Last year, she worked with Giannetos to transform her black pixie cut into chic, short blonde hair.
The change occurred just a few months after The D’Amelio Show star decided to cut her long black hair into a buzz cut. Regarding the process, D’Amelio shared in a YouTube video at the time that she wanted a “fresh start,” saying that this was something she’d wanted to do “since sixth grade.”
She had already named her sister Charli D’Amelio as one of her style influences in a conversation with PEOPLE in July 2023.

“Dixie definitely keeps me in check. I feel like I’m still developing my own personal style and figuring out what I like. Silhouettes that I like, things that I said I would never wear, I’m trying out now. So it’s really fun and interesting,” said Charli, 19.
Charli said that Dixie is always open to sharing her honest opinion about her wardrobe.

“I would say Dixie is definitely my harshest critic when it comes to clothes because she’s always saying ‘no, no, no.’ But it’s good to have that,” Charli said.
