Donald Trump has used a series of personal insults against Kamala Harris over the past three weeks (file).

Former US President Donald Trump claimed at an election rally that he looks “much better” than his Democratic rival for the White House, Vice President Kamala Harris.
“I look a lot better than her. I think I’m a better looking person than Kamala,” Trump said at a rally in Pennsylvania, one of the swing states that will decide the race.
Trump’s reaction was apparently a column in the Wall Street Journal that described Harris as beautiful. “It’s hard to think badly of her. Her beauty and the gregarious warmth spoken of by all who have known her over the years add up to charisma,” columnist Peggy Noonan wrote.
Trump went on the offensive by addressing a Republican running for the U.S. Senate in that state. “You can’t say that anymore. You know, David, don’t ever fall into that trap again,” Trump said to Republican Senate candidate David McCormick in the audience. “David, please don’t ever call a woman beautiful again because that will be the end of your political career.”
“I’m much better looking than her. I’m a better looking person than Kamala,” he said, going on to disparage a sketch of her on the cover of Time magazine, saying he thought it was actresses Sophia Loren or Elizabeth Taylor.
Former President Trump also attacked Harris for her policies, calling the economic plan she announced on Friday one that will “bring communism to the United States.” He called it the “Maduro Plan,” after Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.
Trump has used a series of personal insults against Harris over the past three weeks, calling her “crazy” and “lunatic,” questioning her ethnicity, and even declaring that he had “the right” to make these personal attacks because she made him angry and she also attacked him as “weird.”
