Donald Trump wants to go to a black hair salon • Hollywood Unlocked

In a recent interview with Fox News host Lawrence Jones, former President Donald Trump expressed his desire to get his hair cut at a black hair salon.

During the extensive conversation on Thursday’s episode of “Fox & Friends,” Trump drifted into a long, meaningless monologue in which he, among other things, made unfounded criticism of Vice President Kamala Harris and made remarks about Chicago, the city that will host the upcoming Democratic Party convention.

During the discussion, Jones showed clips from his recent visit to a black hair salon in Chicago and asked Trump a question: “Will you be on the ground in hair salons and communities talking about the issues that are important to them?”

“I’ll do that. I like that guy and I like those people in — I watched yesterday when you did it. You’re doing fantastic, by the way,” Trump said in his response. I watched yesterday when you did the interviews. Those are great people. Those are people that just want security. They don’t want much. He wants to run his barbershop. The people that got their hair cut — I’ve thought about maybe going there myself because that — they — I like the work, maybe they’ll just — they’ll make my hair look better. I’d pay a lot of money for that haircut. They can make my hair look better. But, you know, honestly, those are great people, those are hard-working people. They’re strong. They’re tough. And they know they’re being screwed by the Democrats. They have a corrupt political system in Chicago. Look at your governor — the governor is an incompetent guy. He got kicked out of the family business. He was — Hyatt Hotels, I was a partner with them years ago in a job in New York. They put him out of business. I know the family very well. They put him out because they didn’t want him in business. He ends up being governor. He has money. He ends up being governor. He’s incompetent. Look, Chicago and the whole Illinois thing is very, very corrupt, but we play a big role in that. We play a big role in New York. In New York, you have the same situation. If you go to a barbershop — no matter what barbershop you’re talking about, if you go to a barbershop in New York, in Los Angeles, or any other place you want to talk about, you’re going to find the same, the same reaction.

“You’re really upset and I saw the mothers on your show this morning before we went on, so sad. You’ve given up on life, you have the worst prosecutors, they’re going after guys like me, they’re not going – they’re going after me for questioning the election and things like that. This is nonsense. If an election – if you can’t question an election, you – we don’t have a country. But when people are killed, when their children are killed, nothing happens. I remember Jussie Smollett, I said you had to prosecute this guy and they did. But Jussie Smollett had free reign and yet these killers – and they know who they are. The worst part is that they know who they are. They don’t even go and pick them up. And there are a lot of communities like this.”
