Drake headlines our jam-packed new “Fire Emoji” playlist update: Stream

We got an avalanche of great new hip hop releases this week, so let’s tune into our latest Fire Emoji Playlist update to keep up with the best of the best. The big drop this time was Drake’s 100 GIGs project that gave fans three new songs as well as tons of bonus material, behind-the-scenes footage, and early versions and recordings of other tracks. As for other albums or long-form offerings this week, we got two highly anticipated LPs. Polo G made a triumphant return with HOOD POET thanks to fiery performances like “Bad Kids” with GloRilla, while Latto came through with what many consider her best project yet with Sugar-honey iced tea“Brokey” is a big highlight.

We also have many new, hot singles on Fire Emoji this week. One of the most surprising, yet exciting, collaborations we’ve witnessed was Travis Scott teaming up with Asake for “Active,” a single for the latter’s upcoming album. Speaking of collaborations, a recent new music video has also had many fans rediscovering and touting “Mamushi” by Megan Thee Stallion and Yuki Chiba.

Additionally, Fire Emoji had more surprises in store this week, thanks to Ciara and BossMan Dlow’s “Run It Up” and its bombastic harmonies. The hype also continues to build for Hanumankind and Kalmi’s Project Pat homage “Big Dawgs,” and it’s great to see that song gaining momentum. Detroit also had a good reason to step out proudly this week, thanks to Boldy James, Tee Grizzley, and Harry Fraud’s “Cecil Fielder.” And speaking of love in the South, Kodak Black returned with the menacing “Hit Stick” in his classic accent.

Rounding out the list is a pretty vibrant collaboration with Skilla Baby, Doe Boy and Flo Milli’s “Special.” And don’t forget to listen to Warhol.SS and KARRAHBOOO’s “BLOCKLIST” for the most current sound of this update.
