Drake is accused of insulting The Weeknd in an old passive-aggressive clip

Drake is in hot water with fans of The Weeknd after he released an old video of himself seemingly putting the singer to shame. After Drizzy released the second round of his archived 100-gig collection, fans pounced on a video featuring the two future Toronto superstars.

The clip appears to be behind the scenes at OVO Fest 2013, where Drizzy and the rest of Weeknd’s XO camp are in high spirits. However, upon closer inspection, fans noticed that during the Nothing was as before While the rapper was making fun of everyone, he awkwardly excluded the pop singer and didn’t even take notice of him.

The seemingly passive-aggressive behavior escalates as the video progresses, with Abel Tesfaye scrunching up his lip and face, looking visibly upset at the lack of recognition. After Drake tells his story about Kanye West, Don C and Virgil Abloh’s performance at the festival, he appears to smack the crooner before the clip ends.

Fans were not happy with the rapper’s behavior during the clip and suspected that Abel was Watch out collaborator. “Oh so he ignored him after using him on one of his best albums? Awesome you were a snake,” one fan commented on the video. “Drake slimy dude,” another account noted. “See how he cut the footage when he noticed the weekend and was about to high-five him.”

Other viewers explained that the energy in the footage may have contributed to the ongoing feud between OVO and XO, writing, “Drake will cheat on anyone but The Weeknd and talk to him extremely closely but act like the whole feud was born out of jealousy,” while another comment read, “You guys are talking about a man who was stealing songs from The Weeknd around that time.” Watch out was only possible because of Abel. Period. He knew what Drake was then and knows what he is today.”
