Drake & J Cole stock up on “Born Sinner” CDs in an old clip from Drizzy’s “100 GIGS” website

Fans aren’t entirely sure if J. Cole and Drake are still cool with each other after this year’s fight with Kendrick Lamar. However, a new batch of footage the latter posted on his website 100 GIGS suggests it’s still love. In addition, he included an old video that many fans may recognize, in which the “First Person Shooter” duo buys a batch of Coles Born sinner CDs at a New York Best Buy when it launched in 2013. Along with several other publicly available recordings, some fans cheekily wonder why the 6ix god is sharing this stuff from the archive when a quick YouTube search is just as effective. To make matters even more ironic, the video is literally on Cole’s page.

Still, that’s a petty and irrelevant argument if you want to add that to your Drake hater resume. All kidding aside, another example of this is his inclusion of a classic clip of Kanye West at OVO Fest 2013. In the video, Ye thanks the Toronto superstar for inspiring him and Jay-Z to Watch The Throne together, after the “pressure” he put on her and the rap scene at the time.

Drake and J. Cole go on a CD shopping spree

Elsewhere, however, it seems as though J. Cole may continue to remain a “MIDDLE CHILD” when it comes to Drake, a situation he found himself in in March and April of this year. Many fans mocked the Dreamville MC’s decision to retract his diss of Kendrick Lamar, putting him between two feuding peers. But ultimately, it’s probably the most humanistic, honest and respectable moment to come out of this whole saga. Regardless, the reason he may be stuck between two worlds again isn’t just his appearance on Future and Metro Boomin’s WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOUbut because of an alleged collaboration with A$AP Rocky, which will land on the next album of the creative from Harlem.

Meanwhile, all of these new drops from Drake (and attacks on his opponents) stand in sharp contrast to his rival Kendrick Lamar’s silence of late. According to some unverifiable sources, he might be dropping something soon, but that’s something we’ve been hearing all year, if not the decade. At least this whole situation didn’t seem to affect Drizzy and J. Cole’s relationship, if this re-uploaded Best Buy video is any indication. But some fans won’t stop their speculation until their relationship is clear as day.
