Perhaps no NFL player’s stock price has risen more this offseason than Drake London’s.
The Atlanta Falcons wide receiver is apparently on the verge of his big break in 2024 after Atlanta finally got its 2022 first-round pick by signing Kirk Cousins and selecting Michael Penix eighth overall, and getting not one but two competent quarterbacks.
London is expected to be the WR1 for the NFC South favorites, which will be an especially important role for Los Angeles Rams passing game coordinator Zac Robinson in his first year as the Falcons’ offensive coordinator.

London led the Falcons in targets (110), catches (69) and receiving yards (905), despite Atlanta’s disappointing 7-10 record and the fact that he only reached the end zone twice last season.
London’s lack of productivity was almost 100% a failure of Atlanta’s quarterbacks, particularly Desmond Ridder and Taylor Heinicke, who combined for 17 touchdowns and 16 interceptions in all 17 games last season. Atlanta ranked 22nd in passing yards per game (207.2) and 26th in passing touchdowns last season.
London has scored just six times over the past two seasons as Atlanta’s top receiver and hasn’t always been able to use his 6-foot-4 frame to leap over defenders on 50-50 passes.
Nonetheless Odds for the Drake London season 2024 are conducive to his success in 2024.

London has only gained 1,771 yards in his first two seasons and set a career high in receiving yards last year, but his NFL season Player Props are highly inflated and Cousins is ready to give the signals.
Vegas believes London is on the verge of a breakout, as his over/under for receiving yards is 1,000.5 with odds of -125. London has never scored more than five touchdowns in a season, but his odds of doing so are -350, a 77.8% probability.
His over/under for TDs is 6.5, with the over bringing tempting even-money odds, and London’s total for receptions is 81.5. Either of those numbers would be a career high for the third-year USC player.
Expectations have risen not only for London. The Falcons have not won more than seven games since selecting the USC product in the 2022 draft, but they are now considered favorites to win the NFC South (-120) and have the sixth-lowest odds to represent the NFC in Super Bowl LIX and are ranked 13th lowest NFL Super Bowl Odds .
London calls
Everything is wide open in the NFC South, especially considering that the Buccaneers are three-time defending champions but now have the second-lowest odds of winning the division.
But even with solid QB play and the potential for pass-heavy game scripts, London may not outperform his player prop NFL odds this week or every week.
Bijan Robinson will carry much of the offensive load on early downs and is the team’s No. 2 player in caught balls in 2023. Additionally, No. 2 wide receiver Darnell Mooney and fourth-year tight end Kyle Pitts will look to take the load off London, who had a double-digit lead in caught balls in each of his first two NFL seasons.
Still, in 2022, his final full season in the league, Cousins ranked fourth in the NFL in both completions and attempts and was on track to become an NFL MVP candidate until he suffered an Achilles injury in mid-2023.
All of this should mean a lot of targets for London and a much better production performance during the 2024 NFL season.
