The surprise drop contains 3 new songs with Young Thung, 21 Savage and Latto

Drake shocked his fans yesterday by uploading 100 gigabytes of content to a website aptly named 100gig.org. The upload includes three unreleased songs and nearly endless amounts of B-roll video footage.

A unique and surprising detail is that the music debuted on an Instagram account called @plotttttwistttttt.

The release comes months after Drake’s much-publicized feud with West Coast rapper Kendrick Lamar. After years of back and forth, the dispute with K. Dots They don’t like us record. This track instantly became the hip-hop song of the summer and caused many to wonder if Drake should consider giving up his music career.

It seems that Drizzy never considered retirement as an option.

What new music has Drake released?

The three new songs are It is above (with 21 Savage and Young Thug), Blue Green RedAnd Housekeeping white (with Latto). You can listen to Drizzy’s new records below.

On social media, the reaction to the new Drake tracks is mixed, with some saying Drake is back to his old form, while others speculate that this is a failed attempt after the fight with Kendrick.

The best of the three records is The time has come. It opens with Drake’s classic half-hummed rhyme, then Thugger follows with a fast-paced chorus. Young Thug fans thirsty for new music from him may want more from the Atlanta rapper, who is currently embroiled in a trial for his life. The song ends with hard-hitting, gun-heavy rhymes from Drake’s former album collaborator 21 Savage.

The second title is a solo record entitled Blue Green RedThe record sounds like something that was on the Honestly, forget it Cutting room floor. It starts with typical Drake bars and then morphs into his Caribbean accent over house music drums.

The third and final new song features Latto’s voice, and her verse is perhaps the best of all. The record gives Rich Baby Daddy vibes, a song Drizzy did with Sexy Redd on his last album For all dogs. It also lends credence to speculation that Drake may have had an affair with Latto’s sister, Brooklyn Nikole.

What other content is included in the 100 gigs?

In addition to the music, Drake also uploaded a lot of B-roll video footage.

Drake has shared a number of unreleased gems in the remaining folders, although they aren’t full songs. Instead, they’re footage from his January 2023 Apollo show, working on his 2016 album Views, rehearsing “Sooner Than Later” with a live band, touring, and more. Literally, it’s 100 gigabytes of diverse content.
