Drake uses his latest diss track to hail Taylor Swift as the “biggest gangster” in the music business

Drake has called Taylor Swift the “biggest gangster” in the music world.
The 37-year-old rapper paid her the compliment in another “diss track” aimed at 36-year-old Kendrick Lamar. He released the track just days after he released a song in which he mocked the fellow entertainer for collaborating with 34-year-old Taylor on her 2015 remix of her hit “Bad Blood.”
Drake – born Audrey Drake Graham – rapped on his first diss song, “Push Ups,” released on April 13: “Maroon 5 need a verse, so you better make it funny / You only need a verse for the Swifties.”
In his second track, “Taylor Made Freestyle,” in which he pokes fun at Kendrick, Drake pokes fun at his dominance over the singer.
Drake appears to tease Kendrick for not responding to ‘Push Ups,’ rapping about the new song, “But now we gotta wait a week ’cause Taylor Swift is your new top / And if you’re about to take off, she gotta approve / This girl will really treat you like you ain’t in the fight / She customized your schedule with Ant, you ain’t in the loop / I hate all you corporate industry puppets, I ain’t in the mood.”
Drake then appeared to congratulate Taylor, who released her eleventh studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” on Friday (19.04.24): “Yeah, shout out to Taylor Swift, the biggest gangster in the music business right now / You know I delayed my album when she came out, I already said that / You know she’s about to run through a Milly Rock on your head / She got the whole pgLang (Kendrick’s company) on mute like that Beyoncé challenge / Guys, everybody be quiet this weekend.”
Drake also used AI-generated vocals from the late Tupac Shakur, who was killed in a gun attack at the age of 25, and 52-year-old Snoop Dogg in his second diss track of Kendrick.
The fake version of Tupac can be heard singing a possible retort that Kendrick could use against Drake when he raps, “Talk about him liking young girls as a gift to me.”
It refers to Drake’s habit of dating younger women.
And the fake Snoop raps in another verse: “It looks like you’re working out a game plan on how to lose.”
“Taylor Made Freestyle” also has a third verse in which Drake says he’s going to bring out “the coward” in Kendrick.
He raps: “I guess you need another week to figure out how to improve / What’s taking so long? / We’re waiting for you / The rest of y’all definitely involved, y’all gon’ get it too / Once you get the courage to get going, I’m on the loose, on the loose.”
Snoop seemed to find the use of an AI version of his voice in the song funny, posting a clip on Instagram after Drake released it, asking fans: “They did what? When? How? Are you sure? Huh. Everyone have a good night… why is everyone calling me and messing with me? … What happened? What’s going on?”
“I’m going back to bed. Good night.”
