Drake’s Texas ID is circulating on the Internet
On Monday (August 12), a photo of Drake’s Texas ID made the rounds online. It’s unclear if the Toronto native posted the ID himself on his Instagram or Finsta account. In the picture, Drizzy looks like anyone would look on an ID: facing forward. In true Drake fashion, he purses his lips slightly. Fans were quick to share their thoughts on Drake’s photo by commenting on The Neighborhood Talk’s IG repost.

His look, which doesn’t include the usual pouty lips he shows in selfies, has fans voicing their opinions. Some critics suspected that Drake’s move to Texas was related to his rap feud with Kendrick Lamar.
“Well he’s selling two of his homes in California. I guess he moved to Texas to be closer to J Prince so he can feel safe,” one Instagram user wrote. “Look what you did Kendrick (laughing emoji) (shy emoji).”
Meanwhile, another IG comment referenced the lyrics of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” to hint at the rapper’s move to the Lone Star State.
“Well he couldn’t stay in LA or Atlanta,” another user commented.
“Fast forward, 2024, you got the same agenda/You run to Atlanta when you need a bank balance,” Kenny rhymes on the track.
Other social media users also mentioned 6 God’s Canadian residency.
“He’s not even a citizen! Close the borders immediately,” wrote a third user.
“He wants to be from here so badly,” wrote another user.
Last year, during a stop on the It’s All a Blur Tour in Texas, Drizzy revealed that he had purchased a home there. The residence is a sprawling ranch that Drake purchased for $15 million. The 313-acre property was once The Inn at Dos Brisas, a resort in Chappell Hill, Texas. Drake has been spending time at the ranch in recent months, though he still calls The Embassy in Toronto home. An artist of his caliber rests in many places. The Grammy-winning MC’s new apartment is 45 minutes from Houston.
