Earnhardt Auto Center celebrates anniversary with ,000 donation to Phoenix Food Bank

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Earnhardt Auto Center celebrates its 73rd anniversary with a $73,000 donation to St. Mary’s Food Bank.

Over the years, the company has grown to over 17 dealerships throughout the valley. The Earnhardt family said their goal is to support the communities that have supported them all these years.

“Just over four years ago, we lost our patriarch… and his wish was ours… a wish that ensures Earnhardt supports our local communities,” said Derby and Bull Earnhardt.

The donation was presented at the Phoenix-based food bank on Tuesday afternoon.

St. Mary’s serves 76,000 square miles of Arizona. The food bank provides food to more than 600 nonprofit partners, including homeless shelters, senior centers, schools and faith-based organizations.

“This incredible donation will provide more than 360,000 meals to children, families and seniors in need in Arizona,” said Milt Liu, president and CEO of St. Mary’s. “On their behalf, we are proud to accept this tremendous gift from the Earnhardt family and their continued support of St. Mary’s Food Bank.”
