TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Water Department is currently working to repair a burst water main that has caused the complete closure of East 17th Avenue at the intersection with North 20th Street. Barriers and signs have been put in place to direct traffic.
Motorists are asked to exercise caution in this area. Due to the repair work, adjustments to traffic flow may occur.

Expected reopening:
Normal traffic flow is expected to resume on Monday, August 12, starting at 5:00 p.m. However, the work schedule may change depending on weather conditions.
