Ethos Cannabis begins sales to recreational consumers in Ohio

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Ethos Cannabis has begun selling recreational cannabis at its Lebanon, Ohio dispensary, making Ethos one of over 100 dispensaries in Ohio that now offer recreational cannabis. The Lebanon store is the first Ethos location in the state to make this transition, with more stores to follow. A new store in Lexington offering both medical and recreational cannabis will open in mid- to late October, and a third location is planned for January 2025.

Ohio’s cannabis market is growing rapidly and is projected to become one of the largest cannabis markets in the Midwest, with legal sales reaching $1.6 billion annually by 2026. The recreational market is expected to contribute about $1.3 billion of that.

“This is a significant step forward for Ethos Cannabis and the state of Ohio,” said Gibran Washington, CEO of Ethos Cannabis. “Our entry into the Ohio recreational market not only expands our portfolio, but also aligns perfectly with our core mission. We are committed to ensuring cannabis has a proper, useful place in society, and this expansion allows us to further advance that goal.”

Julie Power, Vice President of Retail at Ethos Cannabis, emphasized the company’s readiness: “We have carefully prepared for this transition to adult-use sales, ensuring that every aspect of our operations is optimized to meet the expected surge in demand. Our team has undergone extensive training to serve both our loyal medical patients and new recreational customers with equal dedication and expertise.”

Ethos Cannabis Ohio locations offer a wide range of premium products from top brands including Meigs County. Customers can find various products such as flower, edibles, concentrates, and topicals, all tailored to the diverse needs and preferences of the community.
