Fallout fans surprised by new release in 2025 with hefty price tag

This is cool, but expensive

Fallout fans should check out this brand new release scheduled for 2025, but you might as well save those bottle caps.

When it comes to post-apocalyptic series, few do it better than Fallout. Originally released on PC in 1997, the series arguably evolved for the better with Bethesda’s first release in 2008 with Fallout3.

ICYMI: Check out our chat with the cast of the Fallout show!

Don’t get me wrong, Bethesda hasn’t always gotten everything right with the Fallout series, and almost every new release has been plagued with bugs at launch. Thankfully, these bugs, at least for the most part, are quickly fixed and players can enjoy adventures in the deadly wastelands, only to be killed by raiders and giant cockroaches.

Outside of the Fallout video game series, fans are also enjoying Amazon’s critically acclaimed live-action series and, of course, claiming as much merchandise related to the popular Bethesda role-playing game as possible.

If you’re one of those fans who likes to hoard all Fallout merchandise, then this action figure might be just the thing for you. The action figure in question is the “Fallout Male Sole Survivor” and is scheduled to be released in 2025.

The Sole Survivor ⅙ scale action figure from FigZero stands 12.25″ tall and features 32 poses. It also comes with several accessories including a Pip-Boy, Big Boy weapon, Charisma Vault Boy bobblehead, and more.

In the US, the action figure has a suggested retail price of $180, but is significantly more expensive in the UK at around £270. At one UK retailer, the pre-order deadline is October 16, 2024, so I assume the increased price could be due to import fees from the US.

I would also guess that if you import this action figure from the US, the total cost with shipping and tax fees could be similar to your local retailer, so it might be better to pre-order from a retailer in your area rather than importing directly.

If you prefer to stick with the video games, the entire series of Fallout3 is available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
