A video that went viral on social media shows people visiting Arshad Nadeem’s house in Mian Channu, Khanewal district of Punjab province to meet the Olympic gold medalist. However, many fans were unhappy with the way Arshad was treated as one of the visitors can be seen handing over currency notes to Arshad and taking photos with him.

In the video, a man is seen giving Arshad cash and stating: “I request the government to reward Arshad with cash like I did. Often promises are made but the money is not paid out.”
