Fans laugh at “Round 2 where Drake gets roasted by Alabama States Mighty Marching Hornets”

The curse of Kendrick Lamar just isn’t ready to release its grip on Drake. Although the feud between the rappers began back in the early 2010s, it didn’t really start to stir the hip-hop world until 2024. And while the infamous rap rivalry may have come to an end, its aftershocks still haunt Drake like a shadowy ghost. While it was only fellow rappers who had their sights set on the 37-year-old, university students have now started taunting him as well – it’s like rubbing salt in the wound.

Recently, a video featuring the Alabama State Mighty Marching Hornets made the rounds online. In the video, the students can be seen singing along to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” and “Like That,” explosive diss tracks aimed at Drake. The “IDGAF” rapper has become one of the hottest topics in hip-hop following his infamous diss war with Lamar.

Although the battle ended months ago and the winner was also announced, Lamar still humiliates the “More Life” rapper. The track “Not Like Us” in particular has become Drake’s worst nightmare. After releasing the diss-laden music video for “Not Like Us”, Lamar managed to dethrone “God’s Plan” as the fastest-growing rap song of all time, reaching 500 million streams on Spotify. Lamar also performed the same song on The Pop Out: Ken And Friends, criticizing Drake heavily.

While Drake has endured these backlashes so far, it’s questionable whether he’ll be able to handle college students dancing to the same song that got him beat up in their rap showdown. Regardless, fans are definitely in for a treat.
