Father and son allegedly clashed with police at Wayne County Fair – Finger Lakes Daily News

A father and son were arrested following an alleged altercation with Wayne County Sheriff’s Office officers.

According to authorities, 23-year-old Dominic Affronti was involved in a fight at the Wayne County Fairgrounds on Thursday night and was asked to leave. He reportedly returned to the fairgrounds and got into a physical altercation with two officers, which led to his arrest.

In addition, it is alleged that Dominic’s father, 62-year-old William Affronti, shoved a deputy as he was being escorted from the premises and attempted to intervene in his son’s arrest.

Both Dominic and William Affronti were charged with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest. Dominic is also charged with third-degree trespassing and third-degree assault. Both were released with citations.
