It’s another hot, humid and mostly sunny day. With just a light breeze, pollution, dust and light smoke from fires settle in the valley, triggering a Code Orange air quality warning. This means “sensitive groups” should limit their outdoor exertion, especially in the afternoon. These include children, older adults and those with heart or lung conditions.

A few isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible in our higher elevations today, but otherwise it will remain dry again in most areas today, with just 10% cloud cover. It will be warmer than 36 degrees, but it will feel like it is around 38 degrees. Be cautious and limit your time outdoors. Be sure to stay hydrated.

Tonight it will be clear, with a light breeze and isolated fog with a low of 21 degrees.
