The concert is free and open to the public thanks to the generosity of the Randolph J. & Estelle M. Dorn Foundation, the Lange Trust of Sandusky Library, the Wightman-Wieber Charitable Foundation, Shores & Islands Ohio and the Ohio Arts Council, the press release said.

The concert will feature a full orchestra and guest vocalist Tricia Tanguy, who has performed around the world and recently performed with Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo at the Met Gala, the press release said.

The concert program was designed by Topilow to appeal to a family audience and offer something for everyone, the press release said.

The program includes a large portion of music from Disney films, including “The Little Mermaid,” “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Mary Poppins,” and more.

Additionally, patriotic songs such as “Stars and Stripes Forever” and “Armed Forces Salute” will be played to honor local veterans in attendance, the press release said.

“We hope our families will come out to help us end the summer and welcome fall with music,” said Ron Brooker, executive director of the Firelands Symphony Orchestra, in the press release. “We are so thrilled that our generous sponsors allow us to offer these types of free events to introduce the orchestra to our community.”

“Whether you have been supporting the FSO all your life or this is your first concert with us, we hope you can join us for a wonderful evening of music and fun.”
