Mayor Cherelle Parker welcomes Philadelphia students back to school
Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker cheered on her students as they ushered in the start of the new school year.
PHILADELPHIA – Wawa has developed a special offer for teachers and staff to help them get back into the new school year.
From September 2-15, Wawa is offering free hot coffee of any size to educators and school staff as part of the Cheers to Classrooms initiative.
Offer is available in-store only and can be redeemed by mentioning at checkout that you are a member of a local school district.
“As everyday heroes return to school, we are excited to toast the New Year by offering free coffee to teachers and school staff during the first two weeks of September,” said Dave Simonetti, Senior Director of Store Operations.
The offer is only valid at Wawa’s locations in the mid-Atlantic region, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. The chain had already advertised to teachers in Florida and Alabama in August.
“We hope this small gesture shows our deep appreciation for everything educators and school staff do for the children in the community,” Simonetti said.
