Free tickets for the Indiana State Fair are available through IndyStar

Free admission to the Indiana State Fair is as easy as opening the Monday, August 12th IndyStar newspaper.

The rides, the food, the concerts, the exhibits – the State Fair is an annual spectacle.

IndyStar subscribers receive free admission on Wednesday when they bring a coupon from the print edition of Monday’s newspaper or the digital e-edition.

The voucher is only valid on Wednesday, Farmers’ Day, presented by MacAllister Machinery. The fair is open on Wednesday from 9am to 10pm, the market opens at 12pm.

If you don’t have a subscription, you can get individual copies for $3.50 at your local convenience and grocery stores. Or you can spend even less over the next two days: IndyStar is having a flash sale on digital subscriptions that cost just $1 a month for 12 months.

Digital subscribers get unlimited access to IndyStar.com and all of our apps, as well as the e-edition, a digital copy of the newspaper, and you can add a user to your digital subscription for free.

Which concert will take place at the fair on August 12th?

Visitors to the Indiana State Fair can hear the Happy Together Tour on Wednesday with The Turtles, Jay & The Americans, The Association, Badfinger featuring Joey Molland, The Vogues and the Cowsills.

How much are regular tickets to the Indiana State Fair?

Day passes are available for $13 (parking not included), but packages are also available. Parking is $10 per car.
