Full card revealed for ONE Friday Fights 77 on August 30

ONE Championship returns to Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on August 30 with another action-packed episode of its weekly Asian primetime series.

Featuring 11 Muay Thai fights and one MMA contest this week at ONE Friday Fights 77, it’s sure to be an exciting showcase of international talent in search of that life-changing $100,000 contract with the world’s largest combat sports organization.

In the main event, four-time Muay Thai World Champion Yodlekpet Or Atchariya will face two-time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Kongsuk Fairtex in a 62kg catchweight Muay Thai bout between two men with the momentum on their side.

Yodlekpet is fresh off an impressive unanimous decision victory over Komawut FA Group last June, the fifth win of his memorable streak of ONE Friday Fights to date.

But to record his sixth win in the weekly series, the 29-year-old will need to defeat Kongsuk, who is looking for his third straight win while also exploring his own chances of earning a lucrative contract with a place on ONE’s worldwide roster.

The 24-year-old has a 4-2 record in ONE Friday Fights so far and has already won against Petsukumvit Boi Bagna and Joachim Ouraghi in 2024.

Before the headliners meet, Rambong Sor Therapat will be aiming for his sixth consecutive win against Longern Sor Sommai.

After alternating wins and losses early in his ONE Friday Fights career, Rambong has spent the last 12 months building a compelling case for a six-figure ONE contract.

Among the casualties of his five-fight winning streak is contract fighter Jiduo Yibu. And most recently, Rambong defeated Laotian star Muanglao Kiattongyot on points at ONE Friday Fights 66.

However, Longern is already in the starting blocks to steal Rambong’s momentum.

After defeating Karim Dahou in his first fight with a devastating first-round knockout, the 25-year-old has since lost two close decisions against top competitors.

The hard-hitting Sor Sommai arena team representative will be desperate to get his campaign back on track, and a win over the up-and-coming Rambong would catapult him onto the shortlist for a spot on the ONE roster.

In flyweight MMA, Kazakhstan’s Bolat Zamanbekov and Russia’s Valmir Galiev are sure to make a splash as both men look to impress in their respective ONE Friday Fights debuts.
