COLORADO SPRINGS – Traffic jams will occur Thursday morning for those who need to use Galley Road.

According to the utility, Galley Road is closed in both directions from Wooten Road to the entrance to the Quail Hill Mobile Home development. Final repairs are expected to be completed Thursday evening, and the road will reopen Friday morning.

Colorado Springs Utilities recommends that you seek an alternate route or follow posted traffic detours in the area.

What caused the fracture is currently unclear.
