Gasoline prices in Ohio have risen since last week: Here’s how much

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, gasoline prices rose over the past week, reaching an average price of $3.51 per gallon of regular gasoline on Monday, compared to $3.44 per gallon the previous week.

The average fuel price in the state has increased by about 24 cents since last month. According to the EIA, last year, statewide gasoline prices were as low as $2.61 on Jan. 8, 2024, and as high as $3.69 on April 10, 2023.

A year ago, the average price of gasoline in Ohio was 4% higher at $3.66 per gallon.

The average price of gasoline in the United States last week was $3.41, making prices in this state about 2.9 percent higher than the national average. The average national price of gasoline is down from last week’s average of $3.45 per gallon.
