“This season promises plenty of music and live performances that will excite, captivate and entertain audiences of all ages,” said Allyson Lee, PAC Patron Services Manager.

The PAC begins the season with an imaginative retelling of the epic adventures of an orphan boy who becomes Peter Pan, the boy who never grew up. On November 14 at 7:30 p.m., “Peter and the Starcatcher” will be performed. Audiences can join the intrepid adventurer and his friends as they travel the seven seas, visit fantastical islands, battle pirates, chat with mermaids and discover the magic of Neverland. This show is a collaboration with the Georgia Southern Theatre program and includes student performances and productions.

On December 3, the PAC invites audiences to get into the holiday spirit with the “Sail On Christmas Concert,” performed by Sail On: Beach Boys Tribute. The show includes a live performance of songs from the Beach Boys’ iconic Christmas album, as well as other classic holiday favorites from the original rock ‘n’ roll era.

The season will continue in 2025 with a performance by the four-piece folk band Americana Women on March 18. The New York City-based band consists of four women who celebrate American folk music from its earliest origins to current country, rock and folk.

In April 2025, the PAC calls on all brave heroes to enjoy the magical world of myths and legends in Dragons and Mythical Creatures, a fantastic new interactive show for all the family. Uncover countless dark secrets and come face to face with some of the greatest monsters and most fearsome beasts to have ever walked the Earth.

To close out the main season, the PAC is once again partnering with Georgia Southern Theatre to present William Wycherly’s stage classic, The Country Wife, on April 10. The play was too filthy for the 17th century, and this raunchy classic of Restoration comedy was considered scandalous because it satirized the upper class belief that wealth and status were more important than moral failings. Margery Pinchwife is the supposedly naive country wife who is brought to the big city by an overprotective husband. Her wit is more than a match for her husband and the fops, hypocrites, scoundrels and scoundrels of London. The devious Harry Horner has also returned to the city and is cheating husbands by spreading rumors of his own impotence in order to gain access to their wives. When the two meet, it’s all out in the open and no trick is left unsure. (This performance is recommended for ages 15 and up.)

In addition to the main stage series, the PAC’s School Matinee Series will feature 11 shows for students across Bulloch County beginning October 15, featuring Nobuntu, a female a cappella quartet from Zimbabwe that has gained international recognition with its imaginative performances ranging from traditional Zimbabwean songs to Afro-jazz to gospel.

The series also includes performances of “Winnie the Pooh,” “The True Story of the Three Little Pigs,” “FrankenSTEM,” “The Stuffed Rabbit,” and “Upcycled Cinderella,” among others.

This year, the PAC will also host several free events for the public, including concerts by students from Georgia Southern University’s Gretsch School of Music and film screenings by the Department of Communication Arts.

The PAC is also reinstating season tickets for all main stage productions, which are currently available to current season ticket holders through August 18. Season tickets for new subscribers go on sale August 19, and public ticket and individual ticket sales begin September 1.
For more information on ticket prices and to purchase, visit the PAC website, the box office at 847 Plant Drive, Statesboro, or call 912-478-7999.
