Get these free apps and games for your smartphone

As we approach the final quarter of the year, it’s time to look at the latest app deals on Android and iOS. This week, we’ve compiled a list of premium apps that are currently available for free on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store – but only for a limited time. Read on to discover the best free app deals currently available.

These apps are different from our usual recommendations in the weekly Top 5 Apps of the Week article. While we don’t review each app individually, be aware that some of them may contain in-app purchases and advertisements.

Tip: If you come across an app that you would like to have but don’t need right now, download and install it first. It will then be considered “purchased” and will remain available in your app library forever – even if you uninstall it from your phone right afterward.

Beware of in-app purchases and advertising!

Both free and paid apps can contain hidden in-app purchases and advertisements, especially in children’s games. To avoid surprises, follow these tips:

App permissions: Be careful!

Some apps collect and share your personal information. Protect your privacy by carefully reviewing app permissions. For example, why would an alarm clock need access to your camera or contacts? Limit permissions to protect your data.

Discover free apps for Android or iOS, safe in the knowledge that your data is protected.

That concludes this week’s recommendations. Have you found any apps or games worth sharing? Please let us know in the comments.
