Last month, Xiaomi officially unveiled its new folding smartphone, the Xiaomi Mix Flip. The handset was initially announced for China, but rumors suggest that the company may soon launch it on the global market. The question is, how much will it cost? Thanks to the latest rumors, the global price of the Xiaomi Mix Flip has been revealed.
Rumors suggest that the Mix Flip could cost EUR 1,299 in the EU market. It is also rumored to be released in the Philippines, where it will cost PHP 64,999, and in Malaysia it will cost MYR 4,300. For comparison, in China the Mix Flip debuted with a price of CNY 6,499.
When converted directly to EUR, the price is around EUR 820. This means that the official price in the EU will, according to rumors, be significantly higher than what customers in China pay. Of course, direct conversions don’t work, so it’s probably not realistic to expect them to maintain these prices.
The rumored EU prices also put the Xiaomi Mix Flip on par with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, which starts at EUR 1,200. These numbers should be viewed with caution for now, especially since Xiaomi has not announced anything official yet.
