Google offers a ton of apps, many of which users install when they start a new PC. Unfortunately, there’s no place where you can find all of these apps and install them easily. Until now.

Google has announced The “Basic equipment” app, a new way for users to quickly set up their new PC with all their most-used Google applications. Google explained in a new announcement that Essentials is designed to make it easier to “discover and install many” of the company’s best Google services on Windows.
The new app consists of two sections: the first is a collection of shortcuts to productivity apps like Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc. and the second is a collection of gaming-related apps like Google Play Games.
Google explains that users can access thousands of “mobile and native PC games” through Google Play Games. By logging into a Play Games account, players are given cross-platform progression, meaning they can enjoy a game on their PC and pick up right where they left off on their Android device.
Essentials will be available first on all HP consumer and gaming Windows brands: Spectre, Envy, Pavilion, OMEN, Victus and HP Brand and will soon be available on all OmniBook brands. In addition, Google Essentials will be found “directly from the start menu“.
Additionally, Google Essentials will be available on more laptops and desktops in the coming months, and users will have the option to uninstall all Google services or the Essentials app entirely.
