Most Pixel Weather features, except for the AI Weather Report, will be available on Pixel 8 and older devices. New features will be available in the December Pixel Feature Drop update. The app also integrates with Google Clock and is available on Pixel 5a and above. It can also be installed on non-Pixel phones like the Samsung Galaxy Flip 6.
Pixel Weather offers a number of useful features, including a 10-day forecast, air quality data, humidity levels, and a map with a 6-hour precipitation forecast. A special feature of the app is the “AI Weather Report,” which is based on the Gemini Nano model and provides detailed weather information such as precipitation, wind, UV index, visibility, and pressure.
The weather map also offers a 6-hour precipitation forecast and will be available in the US, UK and most EU countries except Italy, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein.
