Groundbreaking for new aerospace business center in El Paso County on Monday

FOUNTAIN VALLEY – The aerospace industry in El Paso County is growing and a plan is being developed for a new aerospace business center.

The 320,000 square foot project is led by AZ Opportunity Fund and Acro Murray.

The project consists of several phases, the first of which includes a 7,700 square meter building that can accommodate up to four different aerospace companies.

The new business center is located in the Foreign Trade Zone, directly on Bradley Road.

In addition to several buildings for aerospace companies, the plan also calls for 1.8 hectares for retail development.

“At the corner of Foreign Trade Zone Boulevard and Bradley Road, we have 4.5 acres for retail, which is building land,” said Brady Welsh, director of the AZ Opportunity Fund. “It could be used for restaurants or other services for this community.”

Completion of the first building is planned for January 2026.
