Hair transplant turns into a plane accident: Man arrested for refusing to leave the plane

A man who recently underwent a hair transplant and his companion were forcibly removed from an American Airlines plane at Miami airport after he refused to treat his bleeding head wound, raising fears of contamination with bodily fluids.

Eugenio Ernesto Hernandez-Garnier, 27, and Yusleydis Blanca Loyola were about to fly from Miami to Las Vegas when the flight crew noticed Hernandez-Garnier’s bleeding forehead. When asked to clean the wound, he claimed he did not have fresh bandages.

The situation escalated when the couple refused to disembark. Loyola reportedly declared: “If they can’t fly, nobody else can either.” Police were called on board and warned the couple of imminent arrest. Undeterred, Loyola began livestreaming the incident on TikTok.

The confrontation ended with the couple being led off the plane in handcuffs, causing further disruption as all passengers were forced off the plane. They now face charges of trespassing and resisting arrest.

The incident highlights the potential complications of medical procedures such as hair transplants, which can displace hair follicles and result in post-operative bleeding.
