Hallmark+ will be launched in time for the numerous TV premieres in the fall.
On September 10, the on-demand streaming app, currently called Hallmark Movies Now, will be rebranded. The original series “The Chicken Sisters,” based on the New York Times bestseller by KJ Dell’Antonia, will premiere at launch. New episodes of the drama, starring Schuyler Fisk, Genevieve Angelson, Lea Thompson and Wendie Malick, will then be released every Thursday starting September 12.
Also available at launch will be the unscripted series “Celebrations with Lacey Chabert,” hosted by the Hallmark legend. The ambitious 10-episode series follows, in which Chabert surprises deserving heroes with the celebration of a lifetime. New episodes will be released every Thursday.
Hallmark+ will debut the Love on the Danube trilogy on September 10 with the first film, Love on the Danube: Love Song, starring Nazneen Contractor and Wes Brown. Love on the Danube: Royal Getaway, starring Jessica Sipos and Dan Jeannotte, will be released on September 19, followed by Love on the Danube: Kissing Stars, starring Sarah Power and Brendan Penny, on September 26.

Parts of the popular franchise “The Jane Mysteries” with Jodie Sweetin and
Stephen Huszar, out September 10, 19 and 26.
On Wednesday, Hallmark Media also announced “Hallmark VIP Movie Pass,” hosted by Tamera Mowry-Housley, where stars from popular Hallmark movies share personal anecdotes, memories and behind-the-scenes stories. Films featured include “Blind Date Book Club,” “Branching Out,” “The Wedding Veil,” “Curious Caterer: Fatal Vows,” “The Professional Bridesmaid,” “Girlfriendship,” “Notes of Autumn,” “Haul Out the Holly,” “My Christmas Family Tree” and “The Gift of Peace.”
Hallmark+ combines both original series and movies with monthly discounts and rewards for purchases at Hallmark stores and on Hallmark.com. Both annual ($79.99) and monthly ($7.99) membership options are available. App benefits include monthly coupons, free greeting cards, annual membership gifts, exclusive content and more.
