Horoscope for today, August 24, 2024: Review of the good things of the last few weeks

It’s a good time to review what you’ve enjoyed, learned and accomplished over the past few weeks. What worked and what didn’t? Do you have any regrets? What would it look like if you showed 10% more discipline and persistence? Answer these questions to get off to a strong start in one of the most productive seasons of the year.

ARIES (March 21-April 19) You will set aside your own desires to understand what others want from a situation. This will give you the clarity to figure out what you have to offer that would most impact others.

BULL (April 20 – May 20). Talent is necessary, but work is even more necessary. No one can control the amount of talent they have, but with enough work, it will emerge naturally, reliably, and surprisingly. Let your ambition guide you today.

TWINS (May 21 – June 21) Events outside of your control alter the rhythm of your day in interesting ways. If this were a pop song, the unexpected moments of chaos would be the hook.

CANCER (June 22-July 22) Work is about more than just the money you make. It’s a way to learn about the world and your place in it. Even if a job may not be the best fit for you, it can still teach you something on your path to better employment.

LION (July 23 – August 22) Your loved ones will offer you the support they can most easily give you. The easiest way to get the support you need is to ask those who are naturally inclined to give that kind of support.

VIRGO (August 23 – September 22) Create something tangible that demonstrates the qualities you want to cultivate. Whether it’s a vision board, a personal statement of faith, an inspirational journal entry, or a unique ritual, these creations will honor and promote the new you.

SCALE (Sept. 23-Oct. 23) This is one of those rare moments when dwelling on the past actually leads to something productive in the present. You missed something then. Today’s review will make it clear to you.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21) When marketers say “limited supply” and “buy now,” it’s usually a lie to take advantage of the fact that you’re already there and in the mood to buy. But usually, the things worth owning aren’t so fleeting that they’re only available in a moment.

PROTECT (November 22 – December 21). Sometimes you feel like you’re on a mission, and other times you lose track. That doesn’t mean the mission is lost. Stay the course. Don’t rely on the outside world to remind you who you are and what this mission is about.

CAPRICORN (December 22-January 19) Compassion can be shown in a variety of ways. It is not always about being accommodating or giving in. Today’s act of compassion is to listen well and offer a workable solution, not by doing the act for a person, but with a person.

AQUARIUS (January 20-February 18) You don’t need your loved ones to mirror your beliefs or way of life, and in fact, you think it would be odd if they did. You offer support by respecting the other person’s individuality while standing together.

FISH (February 19 – March 20). Resist the pressure to change prematurely. What you need is nurturing and attention, not constant pressure. Trust your own sense of when the time is right. If you are truly ready to change, it will happen naturally and effortlessly.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (August 24). An excellent reason to get clear about your goals is that your luck is so outstanding that you are likely to live them soon. Other highlights: You will keep delaying gratification to finally get what you have long wanted. You will make a series of smart moves and enjoy a rich return on your investment. You will create coziness in your personal and family life. Libra and Sagittarius love you. Your lucky numbers are: 6, 10, 2, 22 and 31.

PROMINENT PROFILES: Rupert Grint, known for his role as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter series, was born when the Sun and Mercury were in Virgo, a position that bodes well for child stars. The hardworking and humble Virgo energy immunizes against the pitfalls of fame. Grint’s adult career has gone from strength to strength, with roles in several thrillers, including M. Night Shyamalan’s recent film, Knock at the Cabin.
