The Locran’s Talisman Unique is probably the easiest Unique item you can get in Diablo4. All you need to do is complete the Eyes of the Enemy questline in World Tier 3 or World Tier 4. Travel to Zarbinzet, meet Locran, complete the Eyes of the Enemy and To the Edge of the Abyss quests, and you will receive Locran’s unique talisman as a quest reward.

However, the completion of this quest line is account-wide in Diablo4therefore, only one of your characters needs to complete it to unlock the Infernal Hordes activity. However, this means that Locran’s Talisman will only drop once in the middle of the quest.

Fortunately, you can also get it using conventional methods.

Other ways to get Locran’s Talisman

You can collect it by opening treasure chests and defeating enemies in WT3 and WT4. There is an additional drop chance when completing Nightmare Dungeons, defeating World Bosses, or successfully defeating Gathering Legions.

No overboss will drop Locran’s Talisman, but you can farm it by completing Infernal Hordes runs. After completing the Eyes of the Enemy questline, you will receive your first Infernal Compass, which opens the portal to the Infernal Hordes in Diablo4. Defeat enemies to trigger Aether events that summon powerful enemies that reward you with Burning Aether when you defeat them. Use this Aether to open gear loot chests after defeating the Fell Council bosses at the end of the activity – 20 Burning Aether for the base gear loot chest, 60 for great gear loot.

To maximize your Ether gain in Diablo4which allows you to open more chests, use Abyssal Scrolls found in loot material chests to upgrade your Infernal Compasses. This way, when used, these higher-tier compasses will trigger more difficult versions of the Infernal Hordes with stronger enemies, more enemy waves, and therefore more Burning Aether. The Great Gear Loot chest – which drops items with guaranteed Great Affixes – only appears after using level 3+ Infernal Compasses, so take that into account.
