How to watch the AVP Manhattan Beach Open 2024: channel, time, schedule for the final of the professional beach volleyball event

The beach volleyball tournament at the Paris Olympics provided unforgettable and exciting action. Fortunately, this is not the only opportunity to see the sport.

AVP, America’s only national beach volleyball league, hosts the Manhattan Beach Open every year, with the finals taking place on Sunday.

The Manhattan Beach Open was founded in 1960 and is considered one of the biggest events of the US beach volleyball season.

The four U.S. Olympic beach volleyball pairs returned from Paris to compete. Miles Partain and Andy Benesh were seeded third, while Chase Budinger and Miles Evans were fifth. On the women’s side, Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss were top seeds, while Kelly Cheng and Sarah Hughes were second.

Last year’s Manhattan Beach winners, Betsi Flint, Julia Scoles, Taylor Crabb and Taylor Sander, were also honored with their own plaques on the Manhattan Beach Pier during the qualifiers.

The Men’s and Women’s AVP Finals in Manhattan Beach will take place at 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. ET, where the champion will be crowned.
