Since 1998, MTV’s The Challenge has brought together reality competitors from around the world to compete in merciless challenges and brutal eliminations. MTV is celebrating the show’s 40th season with a special competition. This time, 40 former contestants are back to compete in new challenges for a $1 million prize. TJ Lavin will host.
In today’s premiere: “The Era Invitational Part 1”, the Challengers arrive for their first challenge, but are shocked to learn that they will initially compete within their eras. Politics begins as the players must make their case to avoid the biggest elimination night in Challenge history.
