My impression of HAPI Shampoo

I was hesitant to use this brand because I wear Boho knotless braids. But I know how important it is to take care of my hair and scalp even when I have a protective hairstyle. I made sure to focus exclusively on my scalp, as most of the product buildup tends to build up around the edge of my head and at the base of each braid.
The first thing I noticed was that I didn’t have to use much force to squeeze the product into my hand. It’s a well-rounded bottle with an applicator that doesn’t trap the product, which I love.
When I applied the shampoo to my hair, it didn’t take long for it to lather. I liked how soothing it felt on my scalp, so I gave myself a mini massage while I worked it in. Since first using it, I’ve used it once a week and I love how it helps me keep my hair in a protective style. My scalp is no longer itchy, nor is it as dry, which has really sold me on this product.
If you care about the scent of your hair care products, please note that this shampoo doesn’t smell sweet at all – it’s much more floral. The scent of lavender and geranium will fill your shower, but that’s about it. It doesn’t really bother me because clean hair is more important to me than anything else, but I know some people take it very seriously.
