A$AP Rocky stays in his lane when it comes to rap drama.
For the latest Billboard Cover story, the “Fashion Killa” rapper spoke to the outlet about his decision to mostly Avoid the ongoing feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, although he does seem to reference him in a few bars of his recent “Show of Hands” collaboration with Future and Metro Boomin.
“You have to realize that a certain n—– has been hitting people for years. I’m not in the middle of it,” A$AP Rocky, 35, told the outlet. “That’s not how I’m reacting right now.”
“I’ve got better things to do than a bunch of p**** boys,” he continued. “It’s real bad out there. It’s real. N—– gets shot at and flashed every day. N—– attacks N—– every day. That little chick ain’t doin’ nothing.”

A$AP Rocky is also focusing on his new music, especially his upcoming album Don’t be stupidwhich has been delayed. In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Thursday, August 22, he shared that “leaks and sample releases are disrupting the album” and apologized to fans “for the wait.”
The much-publicized feud between Drake and Lamar has resulted in several diss tracks in recent months, including the former’s songs “Push Ups,” “Taylor Made Freestyle,” and “Family Matters.” Lamar has also released his own diss tracks, including “Euphoria,” “Meet the Grahams,” “6:16 in LA,” “Not Like Us,” and a verse on Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That.”

In his songs, Drake attacked 37-year-old Lamar, accusing his longtime fiancée Whitney Alford of domestic violence and claiming that one of the “Humble” singer’s children is not his biological offspring. He also questioned his role as an activist, among other claims.
Lamar, on the other hand, called Drake a “pedophile” and a “colonizer” in his songs, while simultaneously questioning his relationship with his family and culture in general.
Fellow rappers Latto and Ice Spice also publicly expressed their opinions on the feud and both expressed themselves positively.
